Fixes:
- Ended support for Microsoft Windows XP.
- Fixed an issue where the computer might hang with blue screen after connecting the LAN cable to the LAN port.
This package installs the Ethernet driver to enable the following devices:
- Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection
- Intel 82579V Gigabit Network Connection
If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified.
